A blowout should not cost you your ends. But most people go straight from towel to dryer with nothing in between, and that is where the damage happens.
The fix is an order of operations. Prep, protect, polish — every time, no skipping.
Step 1: Prep in the shower
A good blowout starts before you pick up the dryer. Hair that is properly conditioned has slip, and slip means your brush glides instead of drags.
Shampoo your scalp with the K. Fiber Shampoo Reestruturador. Then squeeze the water out and apply the K. Fiber Conditioner Restruturador from mid-lengths to ends.
Detangle in the shower while conditioner is in. That is the safest moment to do it — the slip protects the strand. Wide-tooth comb, starting at the ends.
Then blot with a microfiber towel or an old t-shirt. Do not rub. Terry cloth roughs the cuticle and creates the frizz you are about to fight.
Step 2: Protect — the step that matters most

Then comb it through. This is the part people skip, and skipping it means half your hair goes into the heat unprotected. Spraying is not the same as coating.
Now section your hair. Four to six sections. Loose, uneven sections force you to go back over the same hair repeatedly, and repeat passes cause more damage than one clean pass at a higher temperature.

Step 3: Dry with airflow, not heat
Here is the rule most people get backwards: airflow dries hair, heat just speeds it up while causing damage. Turn the heat down and the fan up.
- Air-dry to about 70 percent first. Soaking wet hair is at its most fragile, and you are only making the dryer work longer.
- Use the nozzle. It aims air down the hair shaft, which lays the cuticle flat. Without it, air hits from every angle and creates frizz.
- Keep six inches of distance and keep the dryer moving.
- Medium heat, high speed. Not the reverse.
- Finish each section with the cool shot. That button sets the style and closes the cuticle. It is not decoration.
Step 4: Polish and seal
Once you are done styling, warm one or two drops of K. Fiber Reparador Essencial in your palms and press it onto your ends and the top layer.
Press, do not rake. Raking creates flyaways instead of smoothing them.

Frequently asked questions
How often can I blow-dry without damaging my hair?
Two to three times a week is a reasonable ceiling for most hair, always with a protectant. Give your hair at least one or two air-dry days.
Is a blow-dry worse than a flat iron?
No. A blow dryer spreads heat over a larger area and never touches the hair directly, so it is gentler than an iron clamped onto a single section. The damage comes from high heat and repeated passes, not the tool itself.
Do I need a separate heat protectant if I use a leave-in?
Not if your leave-in includes thermal protection. Doubling up mostly just weighs hair down.
Why is my blowout frizzy even with product?
Usually one of three things: you skipped the nozzle, you did not comb the leave-in through, or you rubbed with a bath towel. All three roughen the cuticle.
Should I blow-dry with a brush or my hands?
Rough-dry with your hands to 70 percent first, then bring in the brush for shape. Brushing soaking wet hair causes more breakage than any heat setting.
